UNITY Receives AED from Ravens Youth Football Grant Program

As part of the Ravens Youth Football Grant program, UNITY received a Heat & Heart Package that included an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). On June 17, UNITY Vice President Ayanna Cameron and Coach Donte Brown (pictured below) picked up the grant package from the Ravens Under Armour Performance Center and participant in a CPR/AED Awareness Session.

AEDs are used to help those experiencing sudden cardiac arrest. The device is designed to be user-friendly, with clear instructions on how to use it in case of an emergency. It’s important for everyone to be aware of what an AED is and how to use it, as it could make a difference in saving someone’s life. Learn more at the Red Cross.
