Domestic Violence Resources Available
UNITY President Julian McElveen attended a local mental health panel during Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and wants to make sure information is available to anyone in need.
“There have been many public reports of domestic violence throughout our area and country this year. We cannot turn a blind eye to it in our communities. Domestic abuse is a vastly underreported and under-prosecuted crime. If you or someone you know is experiencing domestic abuse, don’t be afraid to reach out for help.”
